The fact that Magic Square included the goofy cartoon eyes from that one frame that became a meme, shows that these third party companies are more in-tune with the fanbase than Hasbro is. Also, I am glad to see an animal based transformation that does not do the "limbs become limbs" thing.

This seems like a somewhat fairly SIMPLE, SHORT, UNCOMPLICATED transformation...... And I love it! (mainly Cuz I think the ORIGINAL grimlock (die cast metal, paint) was much longer and more difficult, lol)

Oh yeah. This thing is great. Sludge is my favorite Dinobot. If I did legends, these would be my Dinobots for sure.

Man, I really have mixed feelings about Magic Square. On the one hand, they have some really well designed and engineered figures with very sturdy materials. However, I feel Newage has much better aesthetics and proportions. The MS dinobots especially feel really plain, flat, and almost cheap-looking. They almost look like unpainted color prototypes.

HO LEE SHIT, this thing is on *another level.* How's it feel to handle it? Like, I'm interested, but I've got toys like this before where, they're so complicated, you transform them once and bits start chipping/cracking. Does this feel solid as it goes from mode to mode?

Very cool missile truck dude, reminds me of that nuclear-strike optimus made by another company. I like to think this guy can be an Autobot with a specialty of shooting down flyers (like the seekers) given that his alt mode is an air-defense system. Though I probably wouldn't consider him bulkhead (not thick/bulky enough for me) like some other commentators here.

Now I know what the monsters from Power Rangers feel like waiting for the zords to finish

One thing I love about MP-01 are the shocks and pistons that help sell it as this hulking machine that would NEED such features to function, and I wish they were utilized more in other figures. But the way this figure takes its pistons and just switches them around to different parts of the robot? That ain't right.

My stomach on mine doesn't click well. Very loose. I tried a few time transforming it and still loose. Wonder mine is defective.

Purely because of the name, I wish he had a spear. They could call it the Hellbird Halberd.

I love this character’s aesthetic! It looks like if Bulkhead were in a 70’s mech anime. Also really like how accurate alt-mode is. Transformation looks tough but satisfying enough that it might be worth it.

Wow. I was looking at this figure, but damn, if I get him, robot mode for good. Those feet givin me xtransbots vibes. As does some of this transformation. Great job, as always.

I kind of like this figure a little better than Carefray. They're both really good, but I think I like the more armored look this one has. My only problem with my figure is that the little piston just under the missile rack, the tube chipped and broke, so the metal part can bent out as I try to collapse it down. The first transformation was also kind of hard to get the front wheels to disengage from the chassis. Still can't wait for the other three.

Now, that's what a Bumblebee should look like.

By now I'd like to see the accessories (feet, fists, etc) be integrated into the transformation as opposed to being separate parts.

I just can't get down with the paint and plastics offered by MS. NA all the way, baby.

What I don't get is why silver bolt was chosen to become a Concorde rather than a b1 lancer or a t160 black jack
